John and I have been receiving a lot of the positive feedback from our first 5 episodes of Messing About In Ships. We really appreciate you listening and look forward to continuing to build an active online community of mariners and people interested in the life at sea.

Since our community is spread across the globe, we have set up a map in the left hand sidebar and hope that you will take a few minutes to plot your coordinates. We are very interested to learn where you are listening. It’s quick and easy. Please click on the middle icon above the map to expand it for easier viewing and plotting. If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below or email us at During each Episode of Messing About In Ships we will acknowledge all new members who plot themselves on the map.

We look forward to our community growing and hope that you will join the conversation here and via audio comments on the podcast.

Thanks again for all of your interest, support and participation!

how do i make the chart bigger?

Comment by Glen

Hi Glen;
There are 3 small icons right above the chart. Click on the middle one which looks like a little box and a bigger box and that will enlarge the chart. Once you do that you will see a slider on the left edge of the chart which will zoom it in and out. You can also put your cursor on the chart and drag the chart around in the frame.
Hope this helps and look forward to seeing where you are listening.
